INTRODUCTION
This active research group was purposefully formed to solve oral health problems of people in the northeast of Thailand and the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS).
This research group aims at;
- Producing high-quality research articles published in peer-reviewed journals, both domestically and internationally.
- Strengthening research capacity in novice researchers to take part in the establishment of a research center for chronic inflammatory oral diseases in the near future.
- Building a strong research network of oral diseases and systemic diseases associated with oral health such as cardiovascular diseases, hematologic diseases, infectious diseases and diabetes mellitus by enhancing research knowledge sharing and collaboration, from interfaculty to international levels.
- Promoting the application of research knowledge into diagnostic processes, treatment planning and follow-up care in patients with chronic inflammatory oral diseases.
- Conveying new knowledge gained from research to both public and private sectors for linking production and service lines to take an integral part in research and development to help solve oral health problems of the people.
