On November 1, 2023, Dr. Pongsapak Wongratwanich, the Assistant Dean for Research, Graduate Studies, and International Affairs, extended a warm welcome to a group of 10 undergraduate dental students from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Puthisastra, Phnom Phen, Cambodia. These students have arrived to participate in a short-term student exchange program in the field of dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University. This program will run from November 1 to November 7, 2023.
During this exchange program, the students had the valuable opportunity to observe clinical work in various dental clinics and laboratories within the Dental Hospital, including the Outpatient department, Geriatric dentistry, X-ray, Orofacial pain and oral medicine, Orthodontics, Surgery, comprehensive clinics, and more. Furthermore, they actively participated in educational discussions with expert instructors and their fellow dental students, as well as engaging in various activities with their peers. Importantly, it’s essential to highlight that this exchange program represents a continuous endeavor, established under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Khon Kaen University and the University of Puthisastra, and it is conducted on an annual basis.
