On March 29th, 2023, at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA, the KKU team led by Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-aswapati, KKU’s Vice President for International Affairs, together with Assoc. Prof. Waranuch Pitiphat, Dean of KKU Faculty of Dentistry, both were the alumni of Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and Assoc.Prof. Teekayu P. Jorns, Deputy Dean for Research, Graduate Studies and International Affairs of KKU Faculty of Dentistry, have discussed future collaborations and projects with Dr. William Giannobile, Dean of Harvard School of Dental Medicine and HSDM team.
Thus far, both schools have signed MOU since 2014 and have been continuing academic cooperation, joint activities and scholarly exchange between the two institutions in terms of education, research, faculty and student exchange including giving lectures, visiting scholars, school visiting, and etc. The KKU team also received a warm welcome and hospitality from HSDM team. Harvard University is the first university offering School of Dental Medicine in USA. It was a great opportunity for further collaboration of both schools.
